Weekend Recap!

This weekend was a busy one for sure. Friday we decided to have some family time with just the three of us. It seems like those days are few and far between now, which is probably why I'm soooo excited about this coming up weekend....

We are headin' to Mountain Home, Arkansas!!

What's in Mountain Home, Arkansas you ask?? Well, apparently absolutely NOTHING... and that is exactly why we chose to go there. We wanted to get away for a few days, but didn't want to travel far and deal with touristy stuff. I'm hoping the leaves will have changed, and that the weather is cool, so that we can just enjoy sitting out on the deck, cooking out, and chilling at the cabin. Here's where we're staying...

I hope to do a lot of relaxing here...

And maybe we'll get a chance to use the fireplace, too!

Sorry I got off a tangent, but I'm just a LITTLE excited!! We have yet to go on a family vacation with the 3 of us without family or friends. In fact, this will be the first time in 5 yrs that Clinton and I have gone anywhere with just us two! Can't wait!!!

Ok, so back to the weekend. We had a date night with just us 3 Friday, then Saturday Pres and I ran some errands like we always do. Saturday night we went to the Harvest Fest on the square with YaYa (my mom), Leigh Anne, Jason, and Lawson, too! Presley and Lawson looked so dang cute in their costumes!

Here is a flashback of Presley and Lawson over the last 2 years...so far they've spent every Halloween together!

Yep, we had to switch places with Lawson because Presley was scared to death of those 2 little boys hahah!

Neither one of them won the contest, but we had a lot of fun! Afterwards we all went to dinner with my parents and just enjoyed each others company. It was a great night!!

Not much happened yesterday...just busy getting a lot of stuff done around the house. I finally got all my fall decorations put up. There's nothing as depressing as decorating for fall when its almost 90 degrees outside. It emphasized even more that I could never live anywhere warm during the holidays. I need to be living in Colorado instead haha!
