A few more pics...as usual!

As I was uploading the pics for this blog, I realized how much I love Presley and all of my friends little babies! There are few things as special as seeing your child be a part of your friends lives, and their children as well. It is a true blessing! Here are some pics over the last week :)

The tutu I made for Emmas birthday... my camera stinks, but its two shades of pink and lime green. I also use a lime green organza ribbon.

And here's Savannahs. I have to say that I am not a purple fan, but this is by far my favorite tutu so far...two shades of pink and purple, then a purple organza ribbon. I clipped a pink flower to both of these as well...that way they could keep them on the tutu or pin it in their hair :)
Party #1 was at the Sprinkler park in Collierville for Sweet Savannah! Presley had a BLAST...and thats an understatement. She seriously couldnt get enough of the water!!
Cohen and Pres...she looks like shes about to jump him for that ball hahah!
Reese!

Olive and Ashley!

For party #2, we drove to Tupelo, MS for Emma's 4th birthday! It was a princess party and soooo precious! Unfortunately they dont make princess outfits smaller than a 3T...as far as I could find...so Presley couldnt play along. Here are some pics from the party!
Precious Ava!

Emma and her cousin Ella "ballroom" dancing for us!

All the princesses decorating their crowns..super cute idea!

So of course I had to make one for Pres...she totally helped!

Presley trying on Nan's princess shoes....she loved them but they were just a tad to big!

I had to post a few pics from Presleys first haircut, too!

Presley's FIRST birthday party!

Kelly's Korner is doing a new rendition of "Show us where you live Fridays." This week she asked that we show her some 1st Birthday ideas for little Harper! Presley turned one in February and I had a BLAST planning her birthday party. I didnt go with a particular theme, but I found some super cute candle holders/cake stands/etc from Hobby Lobby and just kinda played off of that. Here are just a few pics to give you and idea...you can go to my Feb post to see more!

Here is a birthday banner that I made her. All I did was cut out the shapes on scrapbook paper, used white cardstock for the letters, laminated them (which you dont have to, I only did so for a keepsake) then attached them with ribbon!

Here are the cake stands and candle holders I found at Hobby Lobby! I got super lucky with these...they were marked down like 66% and I bought them all!
I had her cake made to look just like her invitation (which was shaped like a 3 tiered cake).

Her personal birthday cake!

Another simple project...buy some regular birthday hats and recover them in cute scrapbook paper!

Instead of toys for party favors, I had my cake lady make these cookies...huge hit with all the older kiddos!

I also made this frame for Presley :)

Got this dress off ebay for $30! Includes bows and monogramming!

I had to add this! My favorite gift of all...her sweet little tutu and headband!

Presley and Sam :)

OK so now everyone can stop thinking that I love Jake more than Sam (since I never post pics of Pres with Sam). That is really not the case at all. Sam is just usually somewhere in hiding ( P makes him a little nervous sometimes with all her screaming and jumping up and down on him haha). But not this time! He was sitting in our chair (yes, they think they're human), and she climbed right on up and made herself at home hah! I thought it was so sweet! And for once, Sam didn't get all paranoid and run off....he loved it too :)

Quite the entertainer!

The title of this blog says it all...Presley is ham! Shes just like her daddy when it comes to craving attention! Its really quite hilarious! You just wouldnt think that someone that little would understand the perks of making people laugh at her. So I just had to post a few pics that Candice took a few weeks back when we went to Chilis. I hope her personality never changes, nor her confidence :)

Here she is on the table...we were trying to get her to dance for us...aka "show us her moves"
Acting like shes bashful...shes totally not!

A little pose...the funniest part was when she dropped to the table into this position...like shes done this a million times or something. I promise I havent taught her this!

Ta-Da!
(Yes, I know she needs a haircut. Shes going tomorrow)

What a face!

Where did the time go?!

I seriously feel like I woke up last week and discovered that Presley was no longer a baby :(

She's kinda small for her age, so even though shes in the "toddler" phase, I never really felt like it because she was still so tiny. I mean, shes' almost 17 months old and still wears 12 month clothes! Now all of the sudden I look at her and wonder when it happened. It's almost like when you're pregnant...one day your not showing, the next you can button your pants. And then to top it off, me and Candice decided to try out pigtails on her Friday night. OMG... It was so dang precious! And as excited as I was to finally feel like she was a "little girl," I was so sad at the same time. I realized that I'm never gonna get those baby days back, and quite frankly, I got a little depressed. All those times I would say that I couldn't wait for her to sit up on her own, crawl, walk, talk, "wear pigtails," take dance classes, ride a bike, play with baby dolls...I can now say that I totally understand what my dad meant when he said "don't wish her life away." And as much as I'm looking forward to the memories to come, and the milestones she'll meet along the way, I wish I would've had that time just a little bit longer...and cherished those moments just a little bit more.

Quite possibly the longest blog ever

So it's been about a month since I've blogged and I really dont know why. I sign on every day, but just never feel like I have anything to say. But now I have a months worth of pictures that I'm going to cram in one blog...sorry folks!

I have been quite the busy bee the last week. Leigh Anne and I had started Team Tutu and we've received 5 orders this week! Since shes busing moving to Nashville, I took over this run and she'll do the next. One lady ordered two tutus from us...one with her daughters school colors, then a girly one for Halloween/dress-up. I also made a Memphis, UT, and Mizzou Tigers! Had so much fun, and hope this hot streak keeps goin!

Here are a few pics from July 4th...and then some randoms from the past month.
Maegan and my beautiful nephew Ben!

My neice Sayde, holding Pres
Doing a little pose for us haha

This child LOVES to be tickled...didn't get that from me!

With her uncle David!

Ok, at a year and half, shes finally discovered TV...but she only watches Baby Einstein and VeggieTales...so thats ok...right? Oh and this was my rocking chair as a baby!

Well here is my bf LA and her son Lawson. They just moved to Nashville so me, Pres, and Can had a litte farewell dinner with them.

I'm trying to break the paci...but Pres has been a little rowdy the last few weeks...months. I think its the terrible twos coming early. Or at least thats what I keep telling myself.

Mowing with daddy....if there is one toy she likes, this is it!

Can invited us to go swimming one Saturday...had a blast...Presley LOVED it! But she did not love her hat and sunglasses!

On a walk with Nanny and Ben...she was actually sweet enough to let him ride in her car...for once!

Arent they beautiful?!

Loving on brother Jake!

This is a bad habit that daddy started...letting her "ride" Jake. Now she tries to do it whenever he's laying down and he's not a fan!

In the middle of June, my company took us all to Cancun! It was so beautiful!!! We had such a great time, and the hotel was amazing. The only bad thing about the trip was that Clinton wasn't there to share it with me :( It was just too pretty and romantic to not share it with him. But thats ok...we'll go back one day! We were also able to travel to the Chichen Itza ruins. Its one of the new 7 Wonders of the World...we hit up a sink hole as well that was truly amazing! It made for a long trip, but it was well worth it!

Here is the view walking out of our hotel to the ocean. The infinity pool was amazing!
The lobby was so gorgeous...way nicer than anything I've ever stayed in before!

Pool bar....I must say, I had a few strawberry daiquiris there!

The view from our room...wish I was still there!

Raundise, Me, Jessica, and Suzanne :)

Chris, Suz, David, and Jess...I love my coworkers!

A tequila field...they say you can break open one of those leaves and get drunk.

Just some sights along the way to the ruins...

The sink hole...where Mayan kings and queens bathed because they believed it to be holy water. Totally fresh water...150 ft deep hole, water alone is about 120 ft deep. It was absolutely gorgeous!

And yes, they would let you swim in it! But after a little sun poisoning and a 3 hr drive on a bumpy road, I wasn't feeling it...totally regret that now.
The Mayan Ruins...

I'm not gonna lie guys...as amazing as it was, after such a long day just getting there, and about 110 degrees, I was over it before it began. But it was amazing. I have no idea what all the tour guide said about this, and can't remember what its called (Im awful, I know), but I do know it represents the Mayan calendar!

This would be where my camera died...so I didn't get any pics of the rest of the ruins. But these were by far the most interesting ;)

Wow....so that took up about an hour of my life! Have a good weekend everyone!
