I took all of your advice to heart and realized that I've come too far to give up now. I think what hit me so hard was the fact that I always figured if I lost 30 or 40 lbs, that it would be such a big difference. I didn't consider the fact that I had 100 or so to lose...so 40 isn't going to make as big of a difference as I would like it to. The next 40 will though, and thats what I canNOT wait for!!!
With that being said, I didn't let my weight stand in my way this weekend...I enjoyed every second of Friday and Saturday night with my fellow classmates/friends!
FYI...I'm gonna apologize in advance for the 5 million pictures on this post. I thought about splitting it up into a few post, but I know none of you care that much to see it twice hah!
So Friday night was Family night where you could bring your spouse/date and your children. We met up at our high school about 6, had some refreshments, then took a tour of the school. It was crazy how 10 yrs had passed, and not a thing had changed...it even smelled the same. Kinda made me sad a little bit. I had the best high school experience ever, and I'd go back to those days in a heartbeat....as long as I could bring Presley and Clinton along, too!
For those of y'all that don't know, Clinton and graduated together. We were best friends in high school...I was always secretly in love with him haha. But we didn't start dating till after our sophomore year of college.
A little reminiscing in the cafeteria...
Me and Amber!!
Jason, Phillip, and Clinton...just a few of our class clowns. And they still are!
Me and Can with Christina!
Our attempt at a class photo...
The most precious and amazing principal ever known! Dr. Carruthers...aka "Doc." I invited him to join us at the reunion and everyone was so excited when he showed up!!! I loved this man....still do!

Me and April!
Heather and Nick! Nick graduated with us and married Heather, who I met years before they started dating through another circle of friends...small world!

I also have a quick and funny story about Nick that I LOVE to tell people because it always makes him blush. When we met our freshmen year, he was so sweet and tiny...seriously, like 5 feet tall hah! Well he sat next to me in study hall and I was cramping like no other. So I got some midol out of my purse, but it was in one of those pesky individualized packets that are impossible to open. After wrestling with this thing for for-EVER, it finally opened...and the pill flew over and landed right in front of him on his desk. His face turned blood red as he kindly handed it back to me. He was more embarrassed than I was ha!

Me and Jason...there are no words to describe Jason. He was one of the funniest guys in our class, and he still is! He definitely did the entertaining that night!
Ashley, Nick, me, John, and Mario! LOVE me some Nick and Mario...coolest guys you'll meet. They were two of our star basketball players, too!
Me and C :)
This picture makes me laugh. Phillip informed me after taking this picture that he was intentionally starring at my boobs because he couldn't believe how big they were haha! Clinton and I just laughed!
And this is when Clinton told them to show me some love!
Getting their groove on
At midnight we basically had to kick everyone out. I would've never thought people would still be there that long...and the majority of people at that! Afterwards, about 20 of us headed to a local bar so we could spend some more time together. We weren't ready to call it a night just yet!!
Clinton, Big Marcus, and Eric!
PS...you know you're in Memphis when you go to a bar where they only sell 40s...just sayin'.

I think the alcohol started to take its toll on the guys haha....

Here I am with Laura Beth...some of you might remember me talking about her earlier this year when she was moving to Cali :( Well, she was in town this week and I was able to meet up with her! I hadn't seen her in 6 months!!
So there you go! Everyone had a blast! We had people coming up to us all night telling us how great everything went and thanking us for all of our hard work. It definitely made it all worth while. And who knows, I might consider helping with the 20th :)
