30 Day Blog Challenge: Days 1, 2, and 3!

Ok So I've decided to jump on the bandwagon and join Katie's blog challenge! I've had fun reading some of the others, so why not do it myself?! Better late than never....

Day 1

Introduce, Recent Picture, and 15 facts....

Well, my name is Candice and I've been married to my husband Clinton for 6.5 years. We have a little girl named Presley and she will be 3 in February...which freaks me out a little bit! I work full time, go to school at night (and online)...I'm going for Early Childhood Education. I love children and can't wait to be a teacher! I would tell you more, but then I'd have nothing for my 15 facts.

This picture was taken of us this weekend at our TEN year reunion! Where does the time go?!

OK, here I go...

1. I love to do crafts and be creative, but never have time anymore :(

2. I love TV...probably a little too much! My favorite shows are Desperate Housewives, Brothers and Sisters, Criminal Minds, The Big Bang Theory, Parenthood, Seinfeld, Sex and the City, King of Queens, and Grey's Anatomy. See, I told ya!

3. I use to hate reading until I read the Twilight series. I loved it so much that I felt like something was missing when I finished them all.

4. Rob Pattinson is my #1 on my top 5 list....as he should be on yours, too!

5. Everyone over the age of 40 thinks I named my daughter Presley after Elvis...especially since we live in Memphis.

FYI...I didn't.

6. NYC is my favorite place to go on vacation!!! If you haven't been, book your trip now!

7. My dream is to travel. I told Clinton that if we ever win the lottery, our first call of duty is to take off a year and travel the world. Then come back and buy me a brownstone in NYC, and him a 1000 acres in Montana.

8. Ever since I started back to school 2 years ago (this semester is beginning of year 3), I've made straight A's every single semester!

9. I'm having baby fever really bad.... I'm past the point of being ready for baby #2.

10. One thing holding me back from baby #2 is being sick...I was extremely sick with Presley. I threw up every day, alllll day, until I was about 5 months pregnant...and I continued to throw up until the DAY I delivered her! At one point I lost 25 lbs in 2 weeks from being so sick, was admitted into the hospital for dehydration, the works! Yes it was awful, but worth every second!

11. Another thing holding me back from baby #2 is my weight. I've lost 40 lbs since July but I have about 60 more to go before I'm satisfied :)

12. I have 2 labs, Jake and Sam.

13. I'm lucky enough to have THREE best friends...Candice, Kelly, and Leigh Anne!

14. Clinton and I were best friends for about 4 yrs before we started dating. In 11th grade I told my bff that I would marry someone just like him one day. Little did I know I'd get the real deal.

15. And because I can't think of anything else...I get to see WICKED tonight!!!!!!

Day 2

Meaning Behind Your Blog Name

There is no meaning. My last name is Pair and I tried to come up with something catchy that started with a "P". I failed terribly and have been wanting to change it ever since. Please feel free to give me some input!!

Day 3

Your first love

I know everyone is confused by this, so I'm just going the simple route and choosing my true "first love."

His name is Daniel and we met in 6th grade. I hated him with the passion at first. He was extremely cocky and arrogant...he thought he was something special because he came from a bigger and better school to our little hole in the wall. By the end of the year, he finally convinced me that it was all a front and I gave him a chance. We dated all the way until the summer before our 11th grade year. He was my very best friend and I loved him deeply, but we just weren't meant to be...plain and simple! There are absolutely no hard feelings between us...despite the fact that I never truly got over him until Clinton and I started dating FOUR years later. But if I were to see him right now, I'd run and give him a big ole' hug! He really is an awesome guy and I really care a lot about him. I hope he finds an amazing wife one day, and when he does she'll be one lucky lady!
