Mornin' peeps!
I feel like it has been forever since I've been on here (besides my Top 2 Tuesday post I did last night...but thats different). This weekend felt like it went on for-ev-er! You would think that was a good thing, but it was mostly because my sweet P was sick with a 24 hour bug :( She woke up Saturday night and had thrown up all in her bed, and this lasted until midnight on Sunday night. So yesterday we both skipped work/school since she has to be fever free for 24 hours. It was fabulous. Not her being sick, but having a 3 day weekend :) And with that, I've completely decided that I need to have every Monday off from here on out. Nothing feels quite as good as coming to work on Tuesday!
Other than that, not a whole lot went on this weekend. Friday we went to my bff Kelly's house to hang out. They cooked us an amazing dinner that included steaks, ribs...the works! And other than the fact that Presley was a holy terror for the first couple hours, we had a fabulous time!
I have a feeling this week is going to go by in a blur. This weekend is our 10 yr reunion!!! Gosh I feel old. And for any of you that are possibly thinking about participating in the planning of your reunion....don't. Fight the initial urge of "oh my gosh its going to be so much fun" and just run. Run far, far away!
Ok, maybe I'm exaggerating a tad. I'm sure once it gets here, all the things I've griped about for the past few months will fade away and not seem like a big deal. I hope!
But all things aside, I really am excited to see everyone! Friday night we're all meeting up at our high school for the homecoming football game. Beforehand we are having some refreshments and doing a tour of the school. Its a chance to bring your spouse/date and your kids! Just a little something more casual (and affordable...since I was able to get the assistant principle to let all grads and their families in for FREE! Go me!) and intimate. We really didn't expect a big turnout, but over 100 people (date and kids included) have RSVP'd! It outta be a good time!!
Saturday night will be the actual shindig. Its downtown at the Holiday Inn Select. I can't wait to see it all done up. The room is surrounded by windows overlooking the city, so it should be really pretty lit up at night!
Well, thats all going on with me this week. Exciting, huh? I hope y'all have a great Tuesday!
