Weekend Re-cap!

Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Mine was wonderful and not-so wonderful all at the same time. Presley's birthday party was Saturday and we had such a good time. I was in need of some good family and friend time for sure...and of course celebrating my sweet little girls SECOND birthday was wonderful in itself. I'll have to post some pics later though.

I had two "horrible mommy" moments this weekend...

1. I didn't take one single picture with my own camera! My friend Jason is a photographer and he took some, so I'll have to wait and post them when he can send them to me :)

2. I forgot to buy BIRTHDAY candles! How do I remember every little detail known to man, but forget the candles??

Other than that, everything went really well and we had a great time! About half way through the party I could tell Presley was not feeling good. For one, she was quiet haha...that just doesn't happen often! Second, she didnt want to open gifts OR eat cake...that doesnt happen much either!

She had a slight fever of 99 Friday night and Saturday morning but I figured she was teething or something. But Saturday night she was up to 102. She looked so miserable :( At about midnight she woke up and started crying. I went in there and she threw up all over her pillow.

An hour later...I was throwing up. So of course I start going into panic mode! I've had a house full of people...adults, kids, a newborn, and Im freaking out that we have a virus and have possibly passed it on.

Sunday we both woke up feeling great...no fever, no vomiting. I was so relieved because it was her actual bday and it was GORGEOUS outside! We jumped in the jeep, rolled the windows down, and went with my parents to "The Whistlestop Cafe" in Arlington for breakfast....yummy. We came home, pulled out P's little basketball goal and stayed outside and played for about 30 minutes. I decided I was going to put her down for an early nap so I could take her to my mom and dad's that afternoon...she has a playhouse and swingset there, so theres a lot more to do.

About 45 minutes into her nap, she woke up throwing up again. Then again about 30 minutes later :( She has pretty much had fever ever since, and threw up again this morning. Clinton stayed home with her today because Ive seriously not worked a full week since Christmas. I called the doc and she said that there is a really bad bug going around, but also strep throat...which apparently can make her throw up too. So I guess we'll find out soon enough!

I think I'm going to make a doctors appt for myself too. I never go to the doctor..it has to be pretty serious for me to do so. But, Ive had this congestion and crap for about 5 or 6 weeks now, and I'm just over it. I really wanna be home sleeping and resting. Its cloudy and a little chilly outside...perfect napping weather.

I want spring to come so bad that I can taste it...and we literally did for about half the day yesterday. It was sunny and warm...the perfect weather if you ask me! Then of course the bottom fell out and it rained all afternoon and night.
