Lord I feel like Ive really been slacking on the blog lately.

I just haven't had time honestly. So tonight as I was studying, I thought I'd check out the blog world for a second. One of my good friends, Leigh, at La Bella Vita had a cute post and I thought I'd copy her :)

If I were a day of the week, I'd be Saturday.

If I were a time of day, I'd be 5 pm.

If I were a liquid, I'd be sweet tea.

If I were a color, I'd be green.

If I were an emotion, I'd be happy.

If I were a fruit, I'd be watermelon.

If I were a sound, I'd be rain on a tin roof.

If I were a car, I'd be a Range Rover.

If I were a place, I'd be New York.

If I were a material, I'd be cashmere.

If I were a taste, I'd be something sweet.

If I were a scent, I'd be cinnamon.

If I were a body part, I'd be pretty eyes.

So whats going on with me these days? Nothing and everything all at the same time. We found out yesterday that Presley has strep so I had to stay home with her today. I've been sick for about 5 or 6 weeks and its finally just getting the best of me. I feel like our office is a walking germ. Someone is always sick and its driving me nuts. Then my mom calls me today and tells me she has the stomach virus thats runnin' rampid around these parts. That is ALL I need!

I accomplished nothing today at home. Partly because I wasn't feeling good, partly because I had a 2 year old at my feet yelling "mamma" all day. I don't know how you stay-at-home moms do it...you are truly a special breed! I love Presley more than life, but I just don't think I could do it. I wish I could.

People always ask me "how" I work, go to school, take care of my family, and still manage to throw in some other hobbies like shopping and doing crafts. Well, honestly, I think I'd be unhappy any other way. It gets the best of me sometimes...I definitely put way too much on my plate and its a little overwhelming at times.... but I truly love it. I like being busy. It makes me feel like I'm accomplishing something. Like I'm making the most of life. Now don't get me wrong, I like my relaxing time here and there, too. I have nothing planned for the weekend (so far) and I'm super excited about it!

Well its 10:35 so I better get off of here. I have yet to really sit down and study for my test tomorrow night. I hope y'all are having a great week so far...tomorrow is hump day!! WOOHOO!! Bye!
