Happy Wednesday!
I know, I'm late. Today has been INSANE! And I didn't get to do Wishful Wednesday which totally upsets me. But 1) I didnt have a second to do it, and 2) I didnt watch the Grammys so I have no idea who I would've picked. But according to most of my friends, I'm guessing Lady Gaga and Elton John stole the show! I LOVE Elton John and can't imagine what an amazing feeling it is to perform with him!
So on to the topic of my blog...The Lovely Bones.
First of all, I am not going to ruin it for anyone and tell you what happens, so don't worry about that if you haven't read it yet.
But for those of you that have...what. the. heck?! I just wasn't crazy about it at all. Don't get me wrong...it definitely has its good parts. But it is NOT what I expected. Call me crazy, sick, whatever...but I expected more details. More goriness (is that a word?). More action. More something. OK I don't really know what I expected, but this wasn't it.
So for any of you that read it, am I crazy? I almost feel like I need to re-read it because maybe I missed something...but I don't think thats gonna happen!
I hope I don't discourage anyone from reading it. I have friends that absolutely loved it. And I have friends that feel the same way I do. So I'm just curious to see what you think!
On a brighter note, I hope that all of y'all have read Dear John before you go see the movie this weekend! If you haven't, PLEASE DO! It's amazing!!!! Me and some friends are going to see it this weekend and I can't wait! Its a tear jerker...but oh-so worth it!

I didn't get to watch the grammy's either....glad I wasn't the only one. I have been wanting to see that movie SO bad. Gonna stop and pick up the book tomorrow and read it first. XOXO
I read Dear John and I was NOT happy with the ending. I lost sleep over it.HEHE!!! I know it truly was love and they should have been together!! I won't say more because I don't want to give the whole thing away. And yes, I boo hoo'd!!!!!!!!!
Dear John is on my short list of long lists of books to read for sure ;-) If only I could find time to finish the other three that I've already started! Haven't seen (or read for that matter) Lovely Bones yet, but have heard that it's a little abstract. Hope your day is going well :-)

I agree. I read it in Buffalo and I like the book but I hated the ending. Does that make sense? I loved Dear John!
