Keeping up with Kelly & Co is hosting Friday Funny, and I had a perfect one for today!
Hahah! Candice sent me that this morning and I about died! If I remember correctly, there were a lot of UT folks that laughed at us Memphis Tigers when Cal split, so I find this just a little bit funny!Now on to some other exciting news! For all of yall that had to hear me go back and forth about this....I finally got Presleys bedding!!
I've actually liked this shabby chic bedding from Target for a really long time, so I finally went with it.
I love this sweet little pillow!
And this banner...even though I have no idea what I'll do with it. But it was only $8.
And then some curtains...love the ruffles!
And this is totally random, but I've been racking my brain about this, and Id love to get some opinions. Im taking this leadership class this semester and I really think I'm gonna love it! The teacher gave us a scenario this week to ponder on, and I wanted your opinion.
Say a family was going to take their 5 yr old son to the Congo, and he would have to stay there till he was 18. No civilization of any sort. They can only take 10 books with them. What 10 books would you send with him? Something that would prepare him for society and help him adjust and understand our lives.
What do you think?

And omigod, WHAT a question about books! My degree is in elementary education, so I of course LOVE books and think there are soo many wonderful ones out there. How do you even begin to choose?? Obviously add in some children's books, some adventurous adolescent lit to keep him entertained, and some good classics... my first thought was "Catcher in the Rye" for him to read when he's "coming of age" and going through the "what do I do with my life" phase?? I personally love that book, so that would be one of my choices :-)
