First, I wanted to post a few pics from Lawsons birthday party! We had such a good time and Leigh Anne did an amazing job decorating!! She also hired this local balloon guy to come and entertain the kids...he was wonderful!
I made this birthday banner for LA so she wouldnt have to deal with it...she had enough to do! I have a cricut so it does all the hard work for me...except for tying the raffia on which was a total pain the ____!! But I'll do anything for little L's birthday! This one is by far my favorite one I've done so far!

Ok....now on to the title of my blog...Decisions, Decisions. Lord knows I cant make one on my own. Just ask my friends. They are probably about to lose it with all my questions and opinions needed.
It is time to turn Presleys room into a big girl room. She is already in her twin bed and lovin' it! But I am having such a time decorating her room. I know its not the end of the world, but Ive just been trying really hard to find something cute and girly...that I wont get sick of after 6 months.

Who am I kidding? Ok, I know I'll get sick of it after 6 months because thats how I operate.
But still...Im having a hard time. There is just so much cute girl stuff out there!! And I have so many different ideas, but I'm having a hard time playing them out.
This was my first choice. I LOVE the Brooke bedding collection from Pottery Barn.
One of my friends told me that her concern was that I would get sick of the matchy matchy bedding. Shes probably right. But its soooo cute!!! Anyways, it led me to this color for her room. I wanted to somewhat get away from pink and green and this blue color seems to do the trick for me.
Next, I moved on to looking for some cute fabrics to make her bedding. I came across these....
I love these. There are some others that I got in that are super cute too. But honestly, I dont feel like getting into the whole mess of having stuff made. Last night I came across this and fell in love with it....
Its really hard to see on here, but its light yellow with white flowers. Its just so crisp and clean looking. I also got a robin egg blue quilt to put across the bottom. I would keep the walls the same light blue color, too. But Im struggling with the idea if this is too grown up for her. I want to bring in other colors...pinks, blues, greens, and some other fun fabrics. But I just dont know what to do.

Haha you're so funny :-) YOU KNOW what I think about the Brooke collection! I love all of your choices, they're all so fun. I love the blue walls and the last yellow bedspread is so cute too. If you want to keep it "young" still maybe you could add some fun, child-like pillows on the bed?

The party was so cute!! I love that Brooke collection. Have you been to Pottery Barn Outlet. They had some cute kids stuff in there. The yellow is pretty too. It may last longer for her too.
Bahahaha that picture of Danny just made me laugh! I'm so glad you came and thank you SO much for your help! I love the banner and that is going in the baby book fo sho!!! I'm all about the yellow bedding with the blue walls. Presh!
