MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE Y'ALL!!!
I'm having a wonderful Christmas Eve already and its only 9 o'clock in the morning! Normally by this time I would be out and about doing some last minute shopping! NOT because I am a slacker and I wait till the last minute...but only because I am completely obsessed with Christmas and feel the need to be in the middle of it until the very last minute!
However, this morning I decided to stay home and just be with my family. Presley's fever broke yesterday and the doc said it was just viral...Chest and ears looked good :) This morning, it was back up to 101.6. Luckily some Tylenol did the trick and we're looking good...so far. Who knows what the deal is.
Last night Clinton begged and begged to open up "just one gift." I fought with him tooth and nail, but he won. So I told him that I got to pick the gift, and I only let him open up a Steelers tshirt I got from Old Navy. I had already gotten him his new rims for his jeep, so I only wanted to get a few things for the tree. However, I won a $200 gift card on my company trip, so I got him a few more things, too...shhhh ;)
Well, I figured that since he got to open a gift, it was only fair that I get to, too! He had already gotten me my camera, so the only thing left was my stocking stuffers! Which I dont know if I've said this before, but stocking stuffers are my absolute favorite!!! My mom...I mean Santa... always gave us the best stocking gifts. Just little things like movies, cd's, books, makeup, perfume/lotion, cute jewelry...all the things us gals love :)
Well Clinton did just as good :) He got my a gift certificate for a mani and pedi, the Biggest Loser workout video, and two books I have been dying to read.....

Granted, I told him I wanted all of the above, besides the mani/pedi, but I was thrilled none-the-less! I can't wait to get started on my books. In fact, I've already received a lot of great books for Christmas.
My "secret santa" at work, who has also become one of my closest friends, got me 3 Nicholas Sparks books! Shes a huge fan and has every single one of his books. She knew that I wanted to collect them all, too, so she got me three of them!
I'm definitely gonna be a busy bee trying to get all these books read. Especially since I have to read "Dear John" again before the movie comes out...and I'm dying to re-read the Twilight series!
Well, I hope y'all are having a wonderful holiday season! Merry Christmas!

Merry Merry Christmas!!
I hope P is feeling better! There is some crazy stuff going around.
And I loved the Shack, just make sure you stick with it!
Great books... One more AMAZING life changing selection is Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. Pass it along to your husband and tell him all he has to read is 100 pages of it. It will make him an amazing husband! My husband was VERy hesitant at first but now he recommends it to people.
