The Perfect Pair

'I wish' .... Santa would have remembered
my ______ was on my list!

Ok, I dont really have one for this. I pretty much got everything I asked for this year besides a few small things. The only thing that really came to mind was a new navy blue Coach purse that I've been eyeing for a while. But my sister got me a wristlet that matches it, so thats kinda holding me over for the time being! I might just have to pick one up when we go to Vegas in a few weeks ;)

BUT I'm gonna go ahead and say that I wish Santa would have remembered a new KING BED! Im so over the queen...I just don't know how much more I can handle it! Clinton refuses to get one because he says I already sleep too far away from him....which I might add is all of 3 inches. If he had it his way, he'd sleep right on top of me all night long.

Now on to a few other things. Presley didn't sleep well last night and Im running on about 3 hours of sleep....not even consecutive hours. Its gonna be one of those days where I'll have to type with my eyes closed just to make it through the day!

On the other hand, I'm so excited about tonight! Candice and Leigh are coming over to check out some fabrics I've ordered for Presleys "big girl" room! They are also gonna help me with some paint colors for her room and her playroom...they just dont know it yet hah!

Here are the fabrics that I'm thinking about doing. I really wanted to get away from pink and green...and really pastels in general. I kinda got on a kick of red and turquoise but chickened out. I want something bold and fun, but still girly. Then I came across these two....

I'm thinking about this for the duvet.....

And this one for a pillow sham and maybe a blanket or something....

I kinda liked how they were still really girly, NOT pink and green, kinda vintage/shabby chic, and still some bold aspects too. I've also ordered this stripe for a bed skirt....

This pink one for an accent pillow or lamp shade...something...maybe....can't decide.

I also ordered this pink damask. Its so pretty, but I kinda felt like I'm getting back to the pastels again.

So I'm thinking about the red. What do you think??

At first I was kinda scared it might be too much red. But when the first one came in, I really fell in love with the color...its more of a reddish pink.

Ive also completed task one of the play room!! I moved the computer into the armoire in our living room. You have no idea what an accomplishment this was. I wish I wouldve taken a before picture so you could've seen how awful the armoire was! But now its my new computer desk and I love it! Plus its my favorite piece and I hated that I haven't utilized it for the past 3 1/2 years.

Well, thats all I have today! Hope you ladies are having a wonderful day so far. This is my last work day for the year! I hope everyone has a safe and Happy NEW YEAR!!! Can't believe its already 2010....the year of my TEN year reunion! Thats ok...this is gonna be my year! The year of Candice hahah....by the way, I say that every year.
