Anyway, thanks for all the sweet comments about Presley's room! I'm really happy with it....and she LOVES it. She will line up all her babies and animals on her bench and just read to them. Sometimes she sits with them, other times she pulls up her little polka dot chair and reads to them like a teacher! She's gonna be a good big sister one day!
Ok...I know y'all are probably tired of me talking about Pres' Halloween costume. But I can promise that you're not half as tired as I am! Why do I have to be so obsessed with things like this? I really have a problem. I need help.
Anyway, so originally I thought about doing Cindy Lou Who...which I still LOVE that idea. But that leaves me finding someone to make it, and I'm not loving that idea.
Then there was the Owl costume. How cute is it?? But that cuteness comes with a hefty price tag of $65 by the time I pay taxes and S&H. Is it worth it? I'm thinking no...maybe.
And there is absolutely no reason behind this cute little octopus costume other than just that...its cute. And its cheap.
And it just might be the last year I can get away with dressing my little P in something like this.
Then we have Fancy Nancy.
Presley LOVES Fancy Nancy...also known as "Nance Nancearound our house. We read her book every night. And it would be really easy to do a costume for her. From tutus and boas to fancy jewelry...it all works.
And she also loves Dorothy...thanks to my bff's little girls! She wears her sparkly red shoes every single day.
I really wish I could be one of those mothers that didn't care. But, I do. And I'm sure Presley will be thankful for that one day. She'll never have to look back and think that I didnt make every birthday and holiday as special as I could! And thats worth my craziness!

I love the Owl I know how you feel about the price I just ordered Hudson the Bat from there but I love it and you can look at it like this its only Halloween once ha by the way I love love her room. Do cute and so girly you did a great job.
I hate to play devils advocate, but you could always buy the expensive costumes and consign them at a big consignment sale next fall for at least 20 :) as far as responding to comments, in your settings set it up where your comments go to your email and then you just reply like that. The only problem is so many ppl don't have an email address set up. Then you just can't respond!
I love the Owl!! I think she is a little too big for the octopus. Plus she can be fancy nancy and dorothy when she gets older!
My heart is still set on the owl, but Fancy Nancy is looking pretty cool, too!!! :)
Oh this is tough because they are all SO cute! I love the owl and Fancy Nancy. Cindy Lou is so cute too- but I totally hear ya on having to make the pieces or searching everywhere for them- it takes the fun out of it!
I love all of them. I think the owl is super cute. Is there a cheaper version?
Great idea... Buy the owl because it is precious and then resell it next fall on your blog!!!! Man, I'm so smart. HEHE!
I like teh Fancy Nancy idea, but teh cindy lou hoo is pretty darn cute!
