Happy Thankful Thursday...a few hours early!
I thought I'd go ahead and do my post tonight since my blogging time has been very limited lately. Plus as I sit here next to my sweet lil' Presley....yes its almost 10 and shes still up....I started thinking about how thankful I am for this little lady. So I thought I'd share with y'all her latest obsession.
Her badabug. Aka...her ladybug.
Yep, we are the new, proud owners of a ladybug. The other morning we were all in the bathroom getting ready and Presley spotted a ladybug crawling on the cabinets. Normally, she is totally freaked out by bugs...the slightest move, and she's a goner.
But for some reason, she was totally interested in the ladybug. So I went into her play room and got the bug catcher I bought her over a year ago...you know, for all the sweet little bugs...and we put her ladybug inside.
The child is now OB-Sessed! Everything is about her "badabug." About every 30 seconds we hear "Momma, Daddy...badabug!!" Or "Momma, Daddy, where it go?!"
The thing even had to sit at the table with her this morning while she ate breakfast. I was waiting for the moment she would ask to take it with her to the babysitter, but I got lucky on this one. Today at least.
But I got home tonight from school and Clinton informed me that she took the ladybug to bed with her. He was getting her ready and she said "Daddy, badabug go nite-nite Peslee's bed." How stinkin sweet is that?! But he told her the badabug would have to stay on her dresser.
Luckily she agreed.
So today...and every day of my life...I am thankful for that sweet little girl. I love watching her learn new things....
Even if she does ask me "was sat" 500 times a day.
