Thankful Thursday...among other things.

Hello bloggers! Happy Thankful Thursday :)

I tell ya, I love having these day-of-the-week inspired post...they really make my week fly by!

So today I am thankful for a few things:

1. I officially started Spring Break today!!!!!! WOOOHOOO!!!!

2. I get to participate in Special Olympics basketball Saturday for my first time ever!

3. I weighed Tuesday night for the first time in 3 weeks and I only gained .2 (more on that later)!

And last but not least...the thing I'm always thankful for on Thursdays...

THURSDAY!!!! One day closer to the weekend!

So... I had class last night and we were suppose to present this small project he assigned last week. We could either do a powerpoint, poster, or handouts. I decided to do handouts and a poster board. Needless to say, I waited till the last minute. I started doing my research Monday night and didn't get to bed till 12:30. Tuesday night I got to bed about 11:45 finishing up everything.

So I get to class last night and we get off on our little tangents like we do every week, and guess what? We NEVER did our presentations!! Nothing ticks me off any more than when teachers throw all this work on ya, and then never seem to take it seriously! I mean, I'm not complaining that I didn't have to end up standing up in front of the class to give my spill, but none-the-less!

Now Im gonna take a little second to tell you how ridiculous my co-workers are (wink). Haha I'm just kidding! I'm sure they think I'm the ridiculous one. Anyway it was kinda funny so I thought I would share.

So me, Laura (Southern Sweetness), and Ashley all sit next to each other in our little cubicles. Its kinda known around the office that you're pretty much guaranteed to hear all kinds of random, non-work related, conversations between us three at any given moment...this morning was no different.

So Laura calls me over to her desk because she wants me to help her pick an OPI color for her cruise next week. Yes, you heard me right haha. So I finally get over there...not really sure what to expect....but there are like 10 bottles (ok, only 6) of PINK nail polish sitting in a row on her desk.

As soon as I saw them, I just started laughing! How am I really suppose to pick a color for her to wear when they all look exactly the same?? Ok, only 3 looked exactly the same, so I'll give her that. Then Ashley looks at me like Im crazy and says "these are not the same....those 3 are spring colors, and those 3 are summer colors."

Really?? They're all pink! So I apologized for not knowing the 401 on OPI nail polish...guess I missed that class.... made my choice, and went back to my desk. I'm sure they think I'm a disgrace to all women now haha!
