This weekend I was able to celebrate my sweet P's birthday with some of the fanciest girls on this side of the Mississippi! It was so much fun, too!
Presley was trying to sneak one of these delicious cupcakes before the party even started.

Sarah from
Moske Monkey Business made the cupcakes and they were a hit! She did a fantastic job!

Since we were having a party at 4, I didn't want to have too much food and ruin
anyone's dinner plans. I also didn't want all the
momma's killing me when they saw a ton of sweets! So since I was having parfaits in honor of Fancy Nancy, I had Sarah make mini cupcakes for the kids.

Here are a few more decorations from the party...

It doesn't look like much of a parfait bar, but I had M&Ms,
reeses cups, chocolate chips, heart shaped sprinkles, and
Smucker's chocolate and caramel sauce!

And I'm obviously running out of party ideas...birthday banner #3.

Some accessories for the little ladies... I also had boas and butterfly wings, but failed to get a picture.

My fancy lady!

Some of P's fancy friends!

A few of my favorite ladies and their babies....
My BFF Leigh Anne and Presley's future hubby, Lawson!

Betsy and baby Lily!

My
BFF Kelly and her youngest of 3, Lila!
Sweet Magevney even knows how to get fancy!

Precious little Olive...getting so big!

And I'm so mad at myself because I missed taking pictures of about half the kids! Of course I forgot to charge my camera, so I only took pics in the very beginning and the very end :(

Singing Happy Birthday to P!

Picking out the perfect little cupcake!

I think the party was a success! All the kids seemed to have a great time...it was worth it!

On Monday, I decided to take the day off and spend it at the Zoo with Presley and YaYa.

Presley loves all kinds of Monkeys....
heres one of the
orangutans showing off his art work.

The latest addition to the Memphis Zoo, the
Teton Trek.

The
Grizzlies having some fun together.

And P's favorite exhibit, the Polar Bears ...which happens to be my favorite, too :)

Theres actually a huge billboard on the interstate about "Pressing Paws" at the Memphis Zoo, referring to the Polar Bears pushing off the walls of the aquarium. Well, he/she didn't
disappoint! We played with this one for about 30 minutes! He would just swim along the walls, do flips, and push off the glass. You can see below where one of the little girls is "pressing paws" with him.

This picture makes me laugh...it looks like she's doing a hippie dance with her peace sign on her dress
haha.

So it seems that Presley's 3rd birthday was a success. I'm so blessed to have this sweet little girl in my life. Now all I need is to figure out how to slow down time a little bit :)
