Update

I wanted to thank those of you who left sweet comments, emails, calls, and texts about my sister's surgery. Unfortunately, they had to remove the tube all together. It was 15 times it's normal size and they could not believe she was not in severe pain. They also told her that in another day or so, it would have definitely burst, which could've ended up on a very bad note.

We are very thankful that she was so adamant about getting a second opinion and getting down to the core of the problem. However, I can't help but be angry at the nurse practitioner who denied her an ultrasound the many times she requested it. Had she done so, Crystal wouldn't have had to have surgery, much less her tube removed.

So if you think about it, try to mention her in your prayers. She's on an emotional roller coaster right now and really struggling with initial shock of it all.

On a brighter note...Happy Friday! Hope y'all have a great weekend...I'm surely looking forward to mine! I get to spend the next 3 days celebrating the most precious gift of all, my sweet little P! Her party is tomorrow and she is more than ready! I did a little decorating last night and she was so excited to see it all this morning. She can't wait to see her friends, and I can't wait to see mine, too! We're some lucky ladies for sure.

Well, I hope the rain holds off tomorrow and Monday. This will probably be one of the only times she'll have warm temps on her birthday and we hope to take full advantage of it! YaYa (my mom) wants to take us to the zoo on Monday, her actual birthday, so that the three of us can have a special day together. And it surely wouldn't hurt if it was pretty tomorrow so some of the guests could make their way out on the patio/deck...we definitely could use the breathing room in our little bitty house.
