Just to show you how behind I am in everything, I just uploaded 250+ pics to my laptop...all from the month of December. So that goes to show you that I didn't just walk away from the blog world for a few weeks, but technology in general!
We had a lot of fun this month, trying to take advantage of the holiday season. We didn't have the time to do all the things I had hoped to do, but we made the best of it.
One of the things we did manage to fit into our busy schedule was Snowy Nights at the Botanic Gardens. We went with my best friend Kelly and her family, and none of us really knew what to expect. Well the "real snow" that they were going to have was in a 10x10 area, surrounded by bails of hey covered in black plastic...not quite what we had in mind
haha. But the kids loved it none-the-less!

They had little games and activities for the kids to play with...

lots of Christmas lights and decorations...

We only lasted about an hour, even after hot chocolate and
smores. But the girls had a blast despite how freezing cold it was!
After talking about it for 3 years, we finally bit the bullet and went to Franklin, Tn (outside of Nashville) to see what all this talk was about "Dickens of a Christmas." We stayed with Clinton's older brother and his family and had such a wonderful time.

Presley giving her cousin
Sayde a big hug for the camera....and looking out the window and watching the snow fall.

Sunday we headed to downtown Franklin even though it was snowing and
freeeezing cold. I was determined to do a little shopping and site seeing!

A few people in character...

Scrooge walking the streets of Franklin

We had lunch at the Mellow Mushroom so that we could warm up a little bit...

When we came out, the streets and sidewalks were being covered with snow...the perfect setting for such a cute little town and Christmas celebration! Little did I know the
hellacious drive home it would be.

Our family picture with Scrooge! He asked Presley if she said "Bah Humbug" or Merry Christmas, and she said "
Merrrry Christmas!"
haha!
Sayde and Pres with Santa!

And last but not least, we had our first official Christmas party at work. We always just have a potluck at work because our boss never really threw us one, but one of our managers decided to host one at his house. So here are just a few pics of some of my favorite ladies at work...
Ashley...aka
Stiggy (my secret
santa) and me!

Me and Shelby...I was her secret
santa!

The work
bestie...Laura!

Love these ladies!
Thats all for now...try and make it a great day!
