What I've been up to

Well I'm still kickin' ladies.

I've been a slacker in the blogger world. I haven't so much as signed on and read a post the past week and a half. Y'all know how I've been complaining about how crazy busy its been, and how stressed out I've been. Well, it went into overdrive the last few weeks.

Nothing in particular happened, I think it just finally caught up with me. We moved into a new office at work, I've started a new role that I absolutely know nothing about...nor do I understand it. I've had lots of school work, mainly papers and a midterm exam for my half-semester course. All the while I've been battling a nasty sinus infection that put my out of commission for a couple days. Oh, and did I mention this was all going on the week before our big trip? Well, they say "when it rains, it pours"...they sure knew what they were talking about.

One little highlight over the past couple weeks is that I got to see the Vince Vaughn and Kevin James Comedy Roadshow...Huh-larious! The best act hands down was by Steve Byrne. He's been on Comedy Central, a lot of late night shows, and it was great. A little vulgar, but great none-the-less.

Another highlight? Well, I'm experiencing it right now.

Yesterday we left Memphis to head on our road trip to Phoenix Arizona! I was really stressing about how 2 days in a car with my parents, Clinton, and Presley was going to go. But to be honest, its been awesome. Presley has been amazing! A little needy at times, and a few moments I thought I might jump out of the car if she said "Mommy give me ______..." one. more. time. But all in all, shes been fantastic.

I hoped to upload some pictures so I wont bore you with a thousand photos next week, but of course blogger isn't in the mood to cooperate.

Yesterday we made our way from Memphis to Arkansas, through Oklahoma, and ended up in Amarillo Texas. Today we've gone from Amarillo to Santa Fe, New Mexico, and are about 30 minutes from Flagstaff, Arizona where we'll be meeting my sister and BIL. The drive hasn't been that bad at all. Not much to look at, but I imagine it could be a heck of a lot worse.

Santa Fe is hands down the most beautiful place I've seen in the last 2 days. I could totally live there...seriously. Clinton and I have already been making plans. Ok, not really hah. But we both loved it that much, and it has definitely made the top 5 vacation spots for me...as well as the top 5 places I would consider moving to when Clinton and I finally get the courage to do so.

Well ladies, I hope y'all are having a wonderful weekend yourselves. Tomorrow we're heading to the Grand Canyon, then back to Flagstaff for the Polar Express! I'm one giddy little lady!

I'll continue to keep y'all posted as we enjoy our week in AZ. Have a good one!
