Top 2 Tuesday- Books...and a little bit more!

Hey there, I'm back!! I have no excuse for why I haven't been blogging. Well, ok I do...I have absolutely nothing to blog about! Nothing exciting going on, no drama, no stress, nada. Just taking a little break I guess!

Anyway, this weeks topic for Top 2 Tuesday is...Books! I'm right there with Taylor when I say that I'm not much of a reader. How I got through Honors English classes and get A's on all my papers/book reports is beyond me...because I never read them! But I've made it a point to read a little more lately, and its all due to my #1 Fave...

I remember all my friends talking about these books over and over...and over again! I had absolutely no interest at all, in fact the whole idea of them was a little annoying. But I gave in, and the rest is history! In fact, I loved them so much, and just reading in general, that I was so bored when I was done. Never thought I'd see that day, I promise!

Probably my 2nd fave is Dear John...

I read this one years ago and its one of my all time favorite books! I seriously thought about this book for a solid week after I was done reading it. I've yet to see the movie, but I heard it doesn't even compare, so I'm really skeptical about seeing it.

Tonight I had my first class for summer school and was NOT looking forward to it! The teacher had awful ratings, and frankly I just wanted a break...a longer one. But I stuck with it, went to class, and low and behold one of my friends from last semester is in there! On top of that, the teacher seemed pretty cool AND let us out at 6:30!

I came home to Clinton cooking dinner for him and Presley, and he informed me that "she" got me some birthday gifts. Apparently I wasn't specific enough when I told Clinton to not get me a thing...this way, Presley was the culprit!

Now speaking of SJP...lets talk SATC2. My initial response when I left the theater..."egh." Don't get me wrong, there were some cute parts and funny scenes, and anything with them in is always wonderful. But I just didn't feel like it measured up to the series and the first movie.

With that being said, my heart did skip a beat when I saw this fella....

(Yes I totally think she should be with Big, and I LOVE Big...but I have a major Aiden crush!)

Umm hello there! Who are you and why have I never seen you before? Or maybe I have and didn't realize it! Either way, he is definitely a site for sore eyes!

Anyway, back to SATC2. I did like it. I don't think you can be a true blue SATC2 fan and not like it. But it was a disappointment for me, too.
