This weekend is my last weekend of 100% freedom. School starts Monday. I'm trying out 4 classes this semester, and I'm really nervous about it. I just don't know how I'm going to manage working full time and going to school full time, when I have a family that I'd like to spend time with at least a few times a week! And not to mention..."its the most wonderful time of the year." Yes, the holidays. And we all know how important that is...and how much I love to consume my days and nights with all things festive. Ugh. No sense in worrying about it now.
On to better things. This is going to be a pretty low key weekend. I have a wedding tomorrow night, but thats all I have going on. So I decided to try and wrap a few projects around the house that I've managed to put off all summer...shocker.
One of those are these canvas' from Pottery Barn...

I haven't quite decided what route I want to go yet, but Miss P "painted" some canvases about a month ago (just finger painted them, mixing blues, greens, and reds), and I thought about using those as the background and painting little houses or something on them. I'm also going to get some frames this weekend so I can frame them and hang them up in her playroom.

Ok, so you know how I posted a pic of this Cindy Lou Who costume for Presley this year??

Well, I still love the idea. But lets be honest...I can't sew, and I wouldnt have the time if I could. So that leaves me to rely on my mother. Don't get me wrong...she's great at that stuff. But she also is a procrastinator (she's had the material for my kitchen curtains for over a year!!). So when I asked her to make it, she kinda gave me an "are you crazy look?"

So, I decided to keep my options open. Then I found this....
O.M.G!! How stinkin precious is that??!! So what do you think? Shoot for the Cindy Lou Who costume, or get the owl??

I saw those Owl costumes on Pottery Barn Kids...they are SOOO cute!!
oh my word. I want to have a girl just so I can use that owl costume. I would go with the owl, because it will be the cutest when she is still little. She still has a couple of years to be Cindy Lou Who (you could try to get it on sale at the end of this year for next year!!)
Post pics of the paintings!!!
Oh my goodness that owl is SO cute!
