Weekend Wrap-up!

So this weekend was a great one! My sister, who now lives in Phoenix, came home for the weekend to surprise my mom for her birthday!



Friday night I told my parents to meet us at this local restaurant Vinegar Jims. The plan was for my sister to just walk up to the table and surprise my mom....however, there was a wait so she decided to hide inside until we were seated. Ten minutes later, she got tired of waiting and just walked out on the front porch to surprise her. Thank God...you would've thought that my mom saw a ghost haha! It was definitely a good thing we were outside!

Side note: For all of y'all in the Memphis area, you need to go to Arlington and check out Vinegar Jims! Its sooo good! My dads cousin was actually the original owner so it holds a special place in my heart. But if youre looking for some good ole' country food...and FRIED PIES...then this is your place!

Saturday we just did a little shopping and had lunch with Candice :) Crystal went to a friends that night, and I went to my sweet little nephews second birthday party!

Sunday my sister, mom, and I went to the "Mistletoe Merchant" to do a little Christmas shopping! I could've dropped a small fortune on some cute decorations, but I restrained myself! I did however buy Presley her first smocked Christmas dress for this season! We finished off the weekend with a good dinner Crystal made for all of us! I cant wait for her to come back again in December!

And while I'm at it, I might as well top off the blog with some happies from today! I had a pretty crazy day today....work, school, work, test....but I came home to find Clinton had opened 3 of my recent purchases "because he was bored." Either way, I was still excited!

Presleys new Christmas stocking from Pottery Barn!

The hat I ordered from Hooked on You Hats!! I got it in navy blue with a hot pink flower to match her coat...its so stinking cute!

And last...but ohhhh not the least....my Twilight movie I won off ebay!
