A special day!

Today is a very special day because its Leigh Anne's birthday! So I thought I would take a moment to tell you a little bit about her, and how special our friendship is to me :) LA and I met about 7 years ago when she came in to apply for a job at Ultra Tan. I knew right off she would make a great employee and I gave my boss a ring! Since she was working with me, we had a lot of time to get to know each other. Needless to say, we became great friends immediately! Shortly after we started working together, we both were engaged to our wonderful husbands. Thanks to LA, I kinda had a feeling it was going to happen haha! Clinton had stopped by my work to get my parent's #s so he could call them about "something." Of course I was clueless..but not LA! He didnt even get out the door good and she was like "I think he's going to propose to you!" haha! Well she was right!

Since we both got engaged around the same time, we were able to spend the days at work talking about our weddings! We both got married in May, 2004...Gosh, its hard to believe its been that long! Since then, we've been able to experience a lot of things together...from weddings, first homes...to babies! I'll never forget the day that I got an email that said "I AM" in the subject box...I knew immediately what it was going to say. It even took me a second to open it bc I had tears in my eyes! Sure enough, it said "PREGNANT!" I was so excited for her. I seriously dont think there was a soul on earth at that time that I could've been more happy for! Not long after, 6 weeks to be exact, I found out I was pregnant too! I knew I couldnt tell anyone until I told Clinton...I had taken a test that morning, but Clinton had made me promise months back that I would never call him at work to tell him I was pregnant...he wanted to be told in person. Well I had to tell someone!!! SO I emailed LA the second I got to work! Once again, we would begin planning the biggest day of our lives! We had so much fun talking about names, wondering what they were going to look like, how we were going to decorate the rooms! Now we get to talk about the different phases they're in, how fast they're growing, and how much we miss them as babies :)

So there you have it...just a few reasons why LA is such a special person to me. She is the kind of friend anyone would be lucky to have...shes beautiful, smart, hilarious, and honest. She tells you like it is, good or bad. I am very blessed and grateful to have her in my life. I'm so glad we have been a part of each others lives during some very special moments! I love you LA!
