Not much of a New Years celebration...

I'm not a real fan of NYE so we didn't have anything planned other than Sushi with some of our best friends. When Friday came along, I was feeling nauseous all day long and the thought of Sushi was not a good one. The last thing I wanted was to get sick and not be able to eat it for another few years either! It suited me just fine though because it was raining and nasty in Memphis. So Clinton picked up some dinner, and I curled up on the couch and watched Eclipse and Sex and the City 2 :) Pretty uneventful, but I loved it just the same.

Sunday night a few of us got together for the "Last Supper' for our friend Laura Beth.

(LB, her daughter Sydney, and me)

LB moved to San Diego in the spring because her husband is in the Navy. She absolutely loves it there...who wouldn't...but she doesn't get home as much as she would like to. Since Nick was going to be gone for about 7 months, she decided to come here and spend about a month and a half. She is leaving this morning and probably won't be back till the summer or fall **tear**...so all, well most, of her closest friends got together to see her off! We had a great time and I'm surely gonna miss her!

(Danielle, my bff Candice, Grace, Sydney, and Natalie)

But the good news is that most of us are trying to get out there this spring before Nick comes home so that we can spend some time with her! I talked to Clinton about it and he DIDN'T say no haha...that's a good sign! So Miss P and I just might be taking our first trip to Cali together! All we'll need is a plane ticket each...we have a free place to stay, and pretty much everything we would do there would be free, too. Sounds like a good trip to me!! Love you LB!!!

Great pics! I am just like you- not much of an NYE person. I made my boyfriend watch Andy Cohen's 'Watch What Happens Live Party' all night. He was thrilled lol. Happy New Year xoxo
