Honest Scrap!

One of my very best friends, Go East Memphis Mama, has tagged me in the Honest Scrap award! Thanks LA!

Here's the rules....I tell you 10 things about me (honestly) and then pass on the award to 10 fabulous people.

1. I do not like to read but I really wish that I did. There are so many amazing books (so I hear hah) that I would love to read but I just dont have the desire to spend my time that way.

2. Speaking of books, I'm probably the last person alive that hasnt read the Twilight series who actually WANTS too! Candice got me Twilight for my bday 2 months ago and Ive just started reading it. I LOVE it, but have so little time to read it...only about 1/3 of the way through.

3. I have struggled with my weight my whole life, but more so in the last 5 years. I'm totally missing that gene that everyone else seems to have these days to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. I hate this about myself more than anything else. I secretly desire to be in good enough shape one day to be an avid runner who does it just because they love to.

4. My husband and I were best friends before we started dating. I actually told my friend in 11th grade that I would marry someone just like him one day...little did I know that I would get the real deal :)

5. Everyone over the age of 40 thinks we named our daughter Presley because we love Elvis and live in Memphis...totally not true.

6. I often think about how I would love to be someone that loved to read, go to art galleries, museums, be more care free, and live a very eclectic lifestyle...you know, the midtown kinda person haha....with Clinton and Presley of course! And NO, I wouldnt change my life for anything in the world, this is all relative.

7. Im going back to school for early childhood education. I went to college for 2 years after high school and then stopped because I had no idea what I wanted to do. Six years later I realized that it was no longer an option, but a necessity.

8. Somehow I manage to do more now than I did before I had Presley. Since she came along, I have gone back to school (while working 40 hrs a week) and managed to pick up many hobbies. So all these people that act like they have no time for anything once they have a family, I just dont buy it. Sorry!

9. I can count one one hand how many cd's or dvds I've bought for myself in the last 10 years. I just cant justify spending money on things like that...but I wish I did!

10. I LOVE to decorate, craft, paint, etc! I painted our last house so many times that Clinton told everyone we were losing square footage! FYI...I'm in the process of redecorating our entire house as we speak. What can I say, I have an addiction!
